DURAN petri dishes are used in particular for biological and medcal work.
The better the surface of the glass, the better they are for use under the microscope. They must be flat, so that they can be stacked in the minium of space and without slipping. DUROPLAN petri dishes are transparent without distortion and optimally flat.

These Petri dishes are made from DURAN® borosilicate 3.3 glass using a special manufacturing process that permits the uniform distribution of agar and guarantees distortion-free observation.
Typical applications: biological and clinical research, cultivation of microorganism, microscopy.
